In Which Languages Are Documents Accepted?
Documents for accrediting a Master’s or postgraduate degree are only accepted in the following languages: Spanish, Catalan, English, French, Italian, or Portuguese.
If the language of the document or its legalizations differs from those listed, an official Sworn Translation of the documents into Spanish will be required.
What Is a Sworn Translation?
A Sworn Translation is an official translation performed by an authorized translator who certifies that the translation is faithful and accurate to the original document.
How to Request a Sworn Translation?
Translations of documents into Spanish will be considered official if performed by a Sworn Translator-Interpreter accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You can consult the list of recognized sworn translators in Spain through the following link.
Translations performed by the Spanish Consulate in the country of the issuing university are also accepted.
